Tenuta Plozner is located in Barbeano di Spilimbergo, in the hearth of Friuli Grave d.o.c.
The gravelly alluvial soils and the mild climate give to Plozner unique features: mineral, with good acidity and frank bouquet.
METHOD OF TRAINING: guyot exposure north – south
SOIL: Gravel alluvial origin
GRAPE VARIETY : moscato giallo 80%, malvasia istriana 15%, sauvignon 5%
HARVEST: Late harvest by hand of the best grapes, into crates to dry.
VINIFICATION : After withering: soft pressing, fermentation and aging in stainless steel vats.
SENSORIAL FEATURES: Brilliant, golden colour with amber shades. The bouquet is intense and complex: dried apricot, candied citrus, honey. The palate is soft and sweet, but pleasantly balanced by its acid and mineral components.
SERVING SUGGESTION : Ideal with pastries and blue cheese. Try with typical local dessert: Gubana, Spilimbergo almonds cake.
